Anne-Marie Lasher and Kurt Barbieri are two professional bakers and chefs with 50+ years of combined experience.
Anne-Marie Lasher relocated to Berkshire County in 2017 after living and working in Philadelphia for many years. She has worked at several award-winning eateries, and opened her own small prepared foods and catering company where she was responsible for menu development, ordering, staff management, and production of food. Upon arrival in Berkshire County, Anne-Marie went to work for Marketplace Kitchen Table and eventually migrated to their pastry department.
Kurt Barbieri has been in the baking industry for nearly three decades, all based in Berkshire County. His career began at the legendary Daily Bread Bakery in Great Barrington, where he was the production manager. Kurt was responsible for menu development, ordering, staff management, and the production and execution oof baked goods and bread for both wholesale and retail sale. Most recently, Kurt has been baking for Marketplace Kitchen in Sheffield as pastry department manager for 10 years, overseeing production for three cafes, one busy retail outlet, and its sizable catering business.
Nicholas Barbieri takes care of buildings and grounds at Odd Bird Farm. He also assists behind the counter and at the breakfast sandwich station.
Haley Barbieri oversees website and social media efforts for Odd Bird Farm Bakery. Haley can also be found making sales at the Lenox Farmer’s Market on Fridays from 11am-3pm, as well as behind the counter at the Odd Bird Farm Bakery storefront in Great Barrington.
